Lots of good news today. First, Hazen's best friend and his wonderful wife welcomed their little girl at 9:36 (I think) this morning. Taylor Nicole is a peanut at 19" and 5lbs something oz (I don't know many details, just what Hazen told me and he's a man and HORRIBLE about getting details). I'm very excited. :)
Hazen also informed me that as of today he is officially a Staff Sgt!!! Woo-hoo!! Now we get to go get some new stripes sewn on his uniform--it's very exciting (and the pay raise, too, yeah, that's okay).
Also, after checking every couple of days for Hazen's W-2 it's finally posted so I get to do our taxes today. I am very excited to do the taxes. :)
PLUS Ian went to bed at 8, I went to bed at 10, he woke for about 15 minutes at 5:00 and slept until 2 minutes ago. I'm refreshed (it's a good thing too because I needed it after the night before!)
All this news and it's only 9:27. I better not leave the house, I don't think any more good could happen.

Loooooooong night
Last night was one of the worst nights Mr. Ian has had in a long time. I don't know what happened, but it was horrible. I stayed up too late, and just as I was getting ready to head off to bed (around 12--oops) he woke up. I went to him, laid him back down, went back to the living room, and about 5 minutes later he started again. He did this until almost 3 this morning--I didn't crawl into bed until 2:50 something. I have no idea what was wrong--around 1 I tried giving him Tylenol and teething tablets because I thought his teeth might be hurting. Didn't really seem to make much difference though. He woke up again a little after 5, I got back in bed at 5:45, then Hazen's alarm went off starting at 6 (thankfully I hadn't fallen asleep yet) and then went off either two or three more times (he's a snoozer--I hate it!). So I finally fell back to sleep just before 7 when Hazen left and now at 9 Ian is crying. It's going to be a long day.
I think I'm gonna make some coffee...
