It's been a "busy" day. I have spent the last 8 hours on my butt looking for jobs, filling out applications, writing cover letters, etc, etc. I got three applications done today, all for jobs that actually have to do with my degree--I hope to get one! They're all entry level accounting jobs, and are all full-time state jobs which means BENEFITS! Health, dental, vacation, sick leave, 401k, etc. I didn't realize how time consuming it was looking for a "real" job...I wonder if it complicates things more when they're out of state...
I'm trying to find somewhere to rent in Helena, and it's difficult. None of the apartment rental places have listings in Helena, and the two apartments I could find are for 12 month leases--the most we're willing to sign is 6 because we're hoping to look at buying a house this winter/spring. If anyone knows of somewhere to rent (cheap but not too cheap, if you get me), please let me know--I'm stressed!
We're putting in our notice here that we'll be out June 30. Around then is when Ian and I will head up to Montana to live with my dad for a couple of weeks while I get this living thing straightened out. I need to go through all our stuff, donate what we don't want, pack, organize, line up storage, line up a trailer...moving 1000 miles is kind of difficult. Thank goodness for TMO--I don't know how we would manage this without them.
